“For 30 years KOMPAS-3D has been built on top of unique mathematical algorithms that we developed in-house, which are now known as C3D Toolkit. For the last 20 years, KOMPAS-3D has relied on this state-of-the-art toolkit for precise geometric modeling, 2D/3D constraint solving, and data exchange. The development teams at KOMPAS-3D and C3D Labs stay in close contact, working together on additional powerful and reliable solutions that shape ideas for engineers.”
Igor Volokitin, Deputy Director at KOMPAS-3D

Partnership Timeline

2020year

ASCON Group launches the international release of KOMPAS-3D V18 for mechanical engineers. Now, users can run KOMPAS-3D in English, Turkish, and Korean.

2020
2018year

ASCON launches KOMPAS-3D v18, the most powerful version in its history. The updated 3D MCAD system benefits significantly from increases in performance through contributions by C3D Modeler and C3D Solver in optimized algorithms and support of multithreading.

2018

ASCON integrates C3D Viewer Enterprise into its LOODSMAN:PLM product lifecycle management system to generate lightweight representations of CAD data.
